Over the past couple of years, the areas to the east of Marbella have been emerging as highly sought after places to live, and now they are already a byword for sophisticated living in the greater Marbella area. Starting at Río Real, Marbella’s east side takes in El Rosario, Los Monteros, Las Chapas, Elviria and Cabopino. Each has its own distinct flavour, but they do share something in common – they all have some of the finest real estate on the Costa del Sol.

The Santa Clara and Santa María golf courses are nearby too, and complemented by excellent courses at Río Real, Elviria Hills and Cabopino.

Cabopino is famous for its small but perfectly formed marina, which is surrounded by some lovely restaurants and bars.
