A summer of music at Starlite Marbella 2017
Marbella’s annual Starlite Festival is a unique cultural meeting under the stars. This year, the festival celebrates its sixth anniversary, the perfect excuse to come and celebrate this month-long festival of top acts.
Starlite is a music festival that offers different styles of concerts every day. What’s more, it is set in a magical place: the Cantera de Marbella, an open air auditorium dug into the rock in Sierra Blanca. This ephemeral structure can accommodate 3,000 people and produces a singularly ambient and intimate atmosphere.
Starlite offers more than music though. It is also about gastronomy, fashion and art. Indeed, Starlite gives you the opportunity to enjoy:
- Live unique culinary experiences produced by great chefs invited to delight your eyes and taste buds.
- Watch movies in the biggest Spanish outdoor cinema: once a week the auditorium allows you to watch movies under the stars.
- Discover young artists. Starlite provides a live gallery where artists can exhibit their works.
- Attend fashion shows and long list of cultural events.
There is also the Starlite Gala, a part of the festival dedicated to a star-studded charity night that has Antonio Banderas as its host . The aim is to collect funds for charitable associations such as, ‘Niños en Alegría’ and ‘Lágrimas y favores’, of Antonio Banderas.
